About the author
Lorelei Brogan was born and raised in Idaho where she currently lives with her husband. While sitting in her graduate school apartment, studying Rock science, Lorelei decided to set aside her notes and try her hand at romance. At the same time, she used to write articles for a local newspaper under a pseudonym, and this made her wonder if she could write something besides news -- about something she really loved. At the age of 40 she managed to make her dream come true. She has a great family and 4 sons that she adores. She is extremely proud of them, and so are they. They really admire her work, and support her in every step of her life.Her oldest son, who deeply loves her, says Lorelei’s novels make him travel to a different world. In her spare time, she loves cooking and volunteering at her local elderly care home. She also adores traveling with her husband. Their dream is to travel all over the world, with Asia being at the top of her “bucket list”. Lorelei loves to connect with her readers!

Good historical.
Laura is inquisitive, but that just may end up causing her some problems for herself and maybe others too. Detective Jensen Blackwell comes to Cottage Grove and soon Laura and Jensen team up on a case. What is the truth around the mystery of Zachary Bell? The ending few chapters were full of action and drama. It was a good read. I like it kept me guessing who the bad guys were and who the good guys were. Great book to check out.

Exciting Read One of Lorelei’s best books yet. The excitement, the drama and the mystery was exciting as each character was introduced in the story. Laura and her newspaper quizzical mind and loving spirit meets a delightful detective, Jensen, after the murder of her fiancé. Her fiancé was involved with their childhood friends in theft and murder. A must read to find the surprising unexpected murderer.

Historical western mystery romance. A lady reporter finds herslef with two detectives working a mystery in Utah. This was another good Lorelei Brogan novel with a wagon load of twists and turns. If you enjoy western romance with a bit of suspense and mystery this is the book for you.

Loved it! An amazing story! What else can I say? I love a clean story with no foul language or immorality. That little twist toward the end was surprising. I didn't see it coming ... But wow! That's what makes a good story ... so I gave it a 5 rating.

An Entertaining Story I actually enjoyed this story as a whole but there are parts that moved so slowly I had to put it down. It took me an unusually long time to complete.
