Uniontown is a city in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. Copyright dated 1980 and stated 1st Printing Dec 1980 of 301 books and 2nd Printing May 1981 of 200 books ... only 501 or less copies in existence! If these contributors were mothers of multiples born when this book was published in 1980, these same children would now be 38 and probably parents! What a great keepsake tribute for them to pass this cookbook on to their children! My mother gave birth to my twin brother and me in 1973, approx two years after our older brother was born ... many cherished memories! Recipe book measures approx 6-1/4” x 9” with 108 pages plus Index, including Expression of Appreciation page, Table of Contents, A Prayer and Recipe For A Sweet Disposition both poems by Sarah Bittner, refreshingly few filler pages. Cookbook is full of typed-format recipes, and with 277 recipes and 59 unique contributors, some with multiple submissions, you KNOW there is a good variety of MANY good recipes!

Condition: Very Good, and I checked EVERY page to enter all the names! (I include ALL names in ALL fundraiser-type cookbooks because I know how frustrating it is to hope and wonder if specific contributors are included in a book, only to find out they’re not, upon receipt.). Pages and covers are clean, tight to spiral binding, no writing, no tears or chips, all pages intact, no defective spirals. Little wear of cover and page edges/corners. There is no writing in cookbook, but 4 page (41/42, 43/44, 49/50, 59/60) corners have been dog-eared, presumably to “bookmark” favorite recipes. Any shadow is from copier and NOT on items.
