How to make valentines vending machine box? ›

You will need 2 boxes, Amazon boxes work great! Tape the large box up amd cut a rectagle the size of your smaller box and place it snuggly inside, and i hot glued it to keep it in place. Then from there its just decorating the box as you desire!!

DIY Horse Valentine Box

To make: Wrap a rectangular papier-mâché box in white craft paper; cut a slot in the top. Cut one end a shoe box at an angle to create a neck; wrap in white craft paper. Cut a second shoe box to create a muzzle; wrap in white craft paper. Hot-glue parts together.

At the very top of the box you'll need to cut a hole large enough to fit your child's hand and the Valentines. I made this 2" wide by 4.5" long. This depends on how wide you've made your box, so go with whatever works for you.

I started by cutting out a big mouth in one end of the box. Then I covered the whole box with the fake fur using hot glue to secure it to the box. Make a tail out of the fur and glue it to the dogs back side. Cut ears out of whatever fur you have left and hot glue pink felt to the non-furry side.

I just grabbed a couple of the salad boxes, and the dressing containers (+ lids) from my local grocery store, filled them up, and put a little personalized label on top. Don't forget to include a couple of napkins and a baggie for the garbage!
